Booked our event hire to be delivered on the morning of Thursday 03.01.2013, 2 days in advance of the wedding on the 5th of January 2013, to allow enough time to set up the venue. The delivery arrived at 6pm, so we'd lost a day to set up the venue, We checked the goods the following morning, 26 of the 50 chair covers were either dirty or damaged, some looked like they had been used as oil rags. After an urgent phone call, I was given an apology and assured they would send out replacements by midday. Despite calling numerous times, the goods didn't arrive till 6PM (the day before a wedding!) When checking items further, we realised all the glasses we were sent were very dirty, some were chipped and all were of different shapes and height. When I mentioned this to them, I was informed to make do with what we had as they don't have matching replacements! So all glasses now had to go back. Leaving me to drive around looking for suitable replacements the night before my wedding (thanks Liquor city for the great "free" service!). In all, a very unprofessional service, with seemingly no quality checks whatsoever in place. I would certainly recommend avoiding ABC event hire at all costs.
