È-Tag Boom gate not working! e-Tag fee taken

I tried to travel through the Stormvoel e-tag boom gate this morning during peak hour traffic this morning.
After entering the area my tag registered the entry, yet the gate did not open. After going to the manual gate and explaining to the lady, she mentioned that I should use another gate! When I looked behind me and realized that another x 20 cars are now queuing for the gate. I decided to pay the gate with my own money. My company is paying the E-tag, and I hope that all the SANRAL employees will feel the same pinch when we will have to increase our prices of products across the country! JUST IN TIME FOR ELECTIONS!
