Vanessa Cooper who is the owner of Everwood lacked interest in the planning of the wedding. She contacted my wife a week prior to the wedding. Upon arrival on the day before the wedding day to set up the venue Vanessa was not present. My wife had to request assistance. To carry tables and chairs as this was done by her and sisters until help arrived. The std linen provided by Everwood was torn, tables uneven and damaged, banquet chairs which are meant to be used were also damaged. The cateror was advised by Vanessa that we would need to wash all dishes as Everwood is not responsible for that..A few days later after our wedding we were informed by our decorator that her napkin rings 115 of them to be exact are missing. A family member had counted all the drinking glasses on the wedding day and upon collection after the wedding -40 glasses were missing..If we had known abt this we would spend part of our wedding day counting glasses n watching tables..Weddings are special and memorable. This is our memory of Everwood and its management. I will not recommend anybody to Everwood no matter what! A close friend of my wife advised that 3wks ago her brother got married there n had similar issues.
