Contracted Gasline to install a gas fireplace and hob. Had to pay substantial amount in advance. Was charged three call out fees. When the installation was done, I had to pay the remainder of the amount without the gas installation certificate being issued. Was told by Caren du Toit that is how it works!! Was then also forced to pay Gasline for installation of hob they did not do. Was done by another contractor paid by me. Was told that if I did not pay Gasline also, they will not issue the gas certificate. After I paid all the amounts insisted upon, I had to beg for the gas certificate. I was told by Caren du Toit that Chris that issues the certificates was in China and then in Hazyview. Wonderful! After asking again and again and without an inspection by Chris, I received a scanned copy of a gas certificate made out for the wrong name and address. Gas certificates are clearly issued by Chris of Gasline without an inspection being done by him. When I asked for an amended original delivered to me, I was ignored. When I made a demand, I was ignored some more. Now I am still being ignored!! Will now have pay someone else to get a certificate. Thanks Gasline, Chris and Caren du Toit
