I do my nails every month, but dream nails Century City is overpriced. They milk you of every last cent and i believe their prices are subjective. I am from Joburg and used to do my nails at dream nails The Glen. I would do the same style (stilleto tips with colour acrylic). I paid about R320 there, max.
When i get to century city, they tell me that they charge extra for the stilleto tip... that was the first time i ever heard of such, different shapes with different prices doesn't sound right. Then they charge extra for glaze. And i asked them, would anyone do their nails and not apply glaze? They should have one price package and include everything, not extra for this and extra for that. When i left, i paid a total of R450 for my set.
That got me thinking, maybe its time i start hunting for a new nail shop... if you see your clients not returning, its because you make them feel like cash cows.
