I have seen many bad comments about Bridal Dream in Alberton and I feel obligated to comment.
The dirty, dingy and horrible shop that many brides are referring to was actually their temporary shop. The first time I went to Bridal Dream was at their temporary shop and I will not deny it but I was worried. As like many brides I took 15 pictures from their website along hoping that I will find my perfect wedding dress.
I agree they are not fully stock most of the time but the assistant always tries her utmost to assist with a similar design and shape to give the bride an idea. Out of my 15 pictures I was able to try 3 which turned out not being the perfect one. The assistant looked at my body shape and gave her opinions and advise and picked 2 dresses for me.
Long story short I found my dream wedding dress and it was even more perfect than I can ever imagined. I placed an order and paid a deposit then 6 weeks later my dream dress arrive. Brand New.
I do agree the shop is not in the best area and the service is not like the more bigger wedding dress shops but for R1 900.00 a dress you can't expect 5 star service.
