I bought a Navy Blue Busby handbag op 07 Sept 2012 from Diplomat Luggage Specialists in the Riverside Shopping Mall, Nelspruit for R595-00. It is one of a few handbags that I use. In March 2013 during a holiday I noticed the inner lining of the handbag is coming undone. A short while later one of the handles of the handbag came undone and I noticed that I've lost a holding the handle to the handbag. After careful inspection of the handbag I noticed that the "leather" was also fraying/peeling.
I took the bag back to the shop where I bought it because at the time of purchase, the sales lady told me there is a lifetime guarantee on busby handbags and if anything goes wrong I can bring it back and it will be fixed.
After quite a while not hearing anything from Diplomat, they finally phoned to tell me that Busby has kept the handbag because it's not repairable and they've given me a R500-00 gift voucher. This is not what I wanted, so the sales person said she will contact her head office. Diplomat's head office then said they will repair the handbag for free and she must send it back. The bag was not fixed and i'm still not happy
