I wend to the randburg spca on 3 ocasions wher I finally found a dog and a cat. Upon the first 2 visits I was told 450.00 for the cat all inclusive and 550.00 for the dog all inclusive.
Once the inspection was done I got a call to come and collect. The dog wasn't due the waiting period as yet, howver when I said I will take the cat in the mean time, the R450.00 changed to R1000.00? I initially thought he wanted me to pay for the dog upfront as well and I said I'll only pay once I collect for the dog. He then told me the R1000.00 was for the cat only and when I asked why so much the gentlemen told me it was for sterilisation? he also made it quite clear it was not including the dog fees? I then took this up with lyndall Wood who confirmed with us a cat is 450.00 and dog 550.00 all inclusive of sterilisation, deworming etc and basically made me understand that I must have mis-understood?? Funny - my daughter heard exactly the same as I but very conveniently now told it was a miscomunication? To how many of you guys out there has this happened to?
