I research the Nampka supplus department as my husband work for Nampak for years and was retrenched in 1993. When I spoke to the lady how answer my calls she asked if my husband resigned or if he was retrenched, when i told her he was retrenched all she said was "Well he will not get any surplus if he was retrenched" and she drop the phone.
Well I want to know why not as he did not leave the company of his free will. He was retrenched and surely he should have the same benefit as the guys how resigned from Nampak.
how sure are we when he was retrenched that the amount he was paid out was correct to what it should have been.
i would like urgent feedback in this regard and a breakdown showing why he would not qualify for a surplus amount.
