I signed up for domestic assistance with Marvellous Maids in Pretoria more than 3 years ago. The service from the domestic assistants was excellent and my 'account manager', Cordy, also rendered good service. I eventually also signed up for a permanent weekly service. However it soon transpired that the administration at the managing office was not up to standard. I often had to call to sort out account problems as a result of incorrect details, dates of service etc. It got to a point where I terminated the contract, settled the last bill and opted to explore other options for domestic assistance. And now a year later I get an SMS that my account has been handed over to a Credit Buro. This without any communication in the past year, knowing that my account was up to date. I called Marvellous Maids and Heinrich told me he thinks there is a mistake. I am not impressed, being handed over to a Credit Buro whether with reason or by mistake causes endless problems and against the background of a history of bad service from Marvellous Maids, I am not sure whether they will be able to sort this out and I might be the one ending up with a bad record.
