We bought our bed in 2001 in 2007 the springs in the mattress were coming out, I contacted Restonic Head Office and my bed was replaced. Last year we had the same problem springs were coming out of the mattress. False Bay Dist in Cape Town replaced the bed. It is now nearly a year later and the staples are coming out of the base. I sent an email to False Bay Dist, and were informed that they no longer deal with Restonic and I had to contact a specific person at Restonic, which I did. Now I have been informed that there is a warranty charge on the bed, but in between the lines I noted that the reason my base can not be replaced as I live to far away from Gauteng and it will cost them money to get it here, and were also informed that the bed although it is a year old is not under warranty because my first invoice is to old. The tickets of the base and mattress is still on and it says there that the warranty will only be null and void should it be removed. My previous 2 experiences with Restonic was fantastic but I must say after today, I will never advise anybody to purchase a bed from them as there after sales service is terrible.
