Etricity supplies prepaid electricity meters. Tenants pay Etricity directly for electricity and Etricity promises to refund the property owner for that electricity so that the property owner can pay the Eskom bill BEFORE it is due.

Etricity has always been at least FOUR months behind in payments. They make excuses, delay and tell us they don't have the funds. They do not answer emails. They do not reply to messages. In short they take our money and do not pay what they owe us over to us.
They charge our tenants R1.47 per kwh and refund us R1.04 per kwh. This means they charge more than FORTY percent for their "services". They promised that they would charge no more than 15%. They send statements claiming that they have transferred what they owe when they HAVEN'T paid.
