I walked into Minuteman Press at 2 minutes before 5 pm on Thursday the 23rd May. I needed to get a 2 page document printed - not exactly asking for the world.
I was disgruntily greeted by a nameless person who proceed to huff and puff as he painfully switched on the printer and proceeded to look at the clock over and over again.
"We actually close at 5 pm" he said.
To which I responded "we still have 2 minutes to go", "would you like the business or not? "
His response: " No, I want to go home! "
Stunned. Flawed. Shocked at his attitude I proceeded to thank him for his inspirational customer experience to which he responded "You're welcome".
I got in my car and proceeded to Postnet in Fourways who assisted me professionally & with a smile.
Being in the service industry myself and aiming to give our customers a superior experience I found this zero care attitude appalling.
Will I ever attempt to use that branch or any other branch of Minuteman again based on that experience? I am sure you know the answer to that question is an unshakable NO!
Never another minute to be wasted on such careless, arrogant, unwelcoming human beings.
Print that.
