I went to the Disciples Ink Shop to book a possible tattoo. When I asked for pricing I was told that because they are a Christian Tattoo Shop they will not do the tattoo I requested. My response was a disappointed look at I said "That is lame" and I proceeded to leave the shop. Before I got out of the door, the rather large secretary with the bad tattoos shouted at me "Your loss", whereupon I responded it was actually her loss because she just lost business. I then turned to leave and she shouted "loser" at me When I was already in the street.
The secretary (big blond lady) treated me very poorly and little does she realise she has in fact assisted me to seek the expertise of a reputable tattoo artist in Cape Town. It is a real shame this happened because I was willing to help their business and instead I got accosted by the staff.
Save yourself the time and go to a reputable artist in Cape Town where you can expect good service, a kind demeanour and a definite tattoo done by someone who is allowed to tattoo at the International Tattoo Convention.
