On the Friday 03/05/2013 I was surprised by my Fiance with a trip to The House of JC Le Roux.
On arrival we were both blown away by the surroundings of the Deavon Valley! Entering through the the massive glass doors, we were warmly greeted by the security guard on duty. He was so warm and helpful and he politely pointed us in the direction of the reception area.
At the Reception area, we were greeted again very warmly, and advised that the next wine tasting would be starting in approximately 10 minutes. While we waited, we could familiarize ourselves with the building by freely walking around and appreciate what was being offered.
We were collected by our Sommelier, "Ash" (Ash Rudolf), and we gladly followed as he introduced us to The House of JC Le Roux.
From the onset of the tour we could tell that he was truly passionate about the product and loved working for there. He was so informative and introduced us to 2 additional varieties that were not on the tasting option, because he felt the need to better educate us. When we were done he took it upon himself to introduce us to the wine maker Elunda Basson as it was my birthday.
She too was very friendly as she took a pic with us.
