I purchased a house in June 2012 and was instructed to transfer my deposit of R200 000 into the holding account of Michael Dixon Attorneys who was the transfer attorneys. I was informed by Michelle, his colleague, that this deposit would generate interest which would be transferred into my cheque account once the sale had gone through.
The sale has gone through months ago. I have emailed and called this firm numerous times regarding this matter with no reply
I finally managed to speak Michael 2 weeks ago in February and he assured me that this matter would be finalized by last week. Yet again nothing has happened.
My email of this morning has also been unanswered.
The manner in which this matter has been dealt over the last 4 months is unprofessional and unacceptable.
