8 July and 9 July 2011 emailed SABC licence dept. spoke to Oabile Motlogela. He emailed paperwork to cancel my son's TV licence, filled in and stamped at Police station and emailed back to him as per his request. Also paid via internet banking R1300.00 on the 31st August which was total owed to date prior to cancellation. (all proof available)
Demand from VVM attorneys - sent proof of above - heard to more from them
Demand from MMT attorneys - sent proof of above - heard no more from them
Then ShapiroShaikDefries &Assoc - sent proof to email address as stated on their email of demand
months later and 4x emails with all proof sent each time... they are still sending me emails of demand and also sms messages of demand with Final Demand messages.
Yesterday (17th May 2013) I received a call from them (I think her name was Lorraine, black female) she was not interested, said I (MY SON) owed R1325.00, I said was cancelled and paid to date.. would not listen, said no emails received from me (my son, she obviously thought I was his wife not his mother) but did not bother to correct her. I can send emails with proof!
