I have been using bidorbuy for about 4 years or so now without any trouble whatsoever. I was browsing through Hello Peter and happened to come across the bidorbuy reports. I'm not sure what happened with the people complaining, I'm sure they got their own story to tell. But, I have had no trouble whatsoever using the site. Carefully reading the T's & C's has kept me pretty sound.
So, if you are thinking about using it, go for it. I'm very happy buying from their sellers.
