I am so unhappy and stressed because of Bankmed and their incompetence. I was in hospital i May 2012 and October 2012 both My Lancet accounts have not been paid till today were rejected if though in both occations i was admitted. my benefits strictly states that if its and in hopsital account they should pay everyting include the pathologist. claims were rejected by bankmed reason given i am not covered .called them and i was told that they was some icd code that i should get from my Dr and give it to lancet and they should send the amended account back to bankmed which they did . two months back i am suprised now i getting and sms from lancet that my acc as been handed over to lawyers and i must make a payment of R1647.00 include legal fees within 7 working days. i called bankmed spoke to kaylin who said her teamleader will call me back i did not get call, called again spoke to mattew who said i should email the ammended acc it will take 30 days for payment . thats too long lancet wants theire money in 7 days. its not my fault why should i suffer? please sort this out.
