Ruben was dropped off on Thursday and the operation was a great success. He put weight on the leg 5 days after the op on Wednesday! Incredible!
Ruben was assigned a caretaker for the week, Antony. He diligently kept me updated with long, detailed voice mails when I missed his daily calls about Rubens progress, with a lot of needed details and a very reassuring manner that everything will be fine. Thank you Antony!
Tammy truly went the extra mile by contacting my pet medical aid when there was a billing/account issue. Everything was cleared up without me making a single phone call. She even followed up today on how Ruben is doing and if he is re cooperating well.
I'm pleasantly shocked - as you would expect an institution as big as onderstepoort to treat patients like just another number.
