On saturday we left the lodge at 5 30am and was out for the whole day.
We arrived back at th lodge at 00:30am on sunday morning.
As arranged we had been moved from room 5 to room 1 (main room). The room was very nice. However when we opened the duvet to go to sleep we found thaat there was blood stains on the sheets. We were disgusted.
We immediately walked down to reception. There was nobody there.
We found some cellphone numbers at reception and it took 20 minutes to get someone to answer those numbers. Master (Guesthouse manager) answered and came to our room. He was upset and said it was obvious that nobody had cleaned the linen after the previous guests had left. He changed our linen.
I asked Master for the owner's number, Mr Cees Hopstaken. I called Mr Hopstaken and I was very upset. He said to me I had no right to speak to him like that and he would be at the guesthouse in 5 minutes and that I could leave. He arrived and said I can not speak to him like that. He said it was not his responsibility to ensure that everything ran smoothly at this lodge. The most dissapointing was he kept on saying that my behaviour was unacceptable and he would not tolerate this. We left
