My sister was in the Glynwood last week having her baby and the service was DISGUSTING!!! The people who work their do not have one compassionate bone in their bodies. We had 4 nurses who just stared at me when I asked them a simple question and just got irritated when we requested the smallest of things like an extra pillow for comfort. They were not monitoring the baby and contractions which the gynea specifically told them to do. My sisters contractions were seconds apart and she wasn't dialating we had phoned the gynea ourselves to tell him of the situation and he was going to do an emergency c-section he pushed her up to the top of the list now does that not tell the nurses oh dear lets do something about this. she had no epidural which she was supposed to get. her labour ward had no aircon and it was hot as her bed was sopping wet and she was so uncomfortable but nobody seemed to give a. The next ward she was in was the same thing no aircon hot as it was a terrible experience for her. Why pay for private medical care when you get treated like that!!! It actually made me sick to my stomach to see what she had to deal with.
