DISASTROUS HOLIDAY EXPERIENCE

I checked in at the Palace resort in Durban, unit 805 on the 14th December.
I encountered 2 Major problems which has resulted in a poor holiday experience.
The shower leaked through the wall into the bedroom. When I say leaked, I mean buckets full. To add, the wall it was leaking through had an electrical plug point which and caused the electricity to trip. Naturally a concern as this posed a life threatening danger of electrocution. I reported it and had maintenance repair.
Secondly the one bedroom had a very unpleasant smell. To put it mildly, I smelt like cat urine. The smell got stronger by the day and the unpleasant odour made it way to the rest of the apartment. I tolerated it for 4 days and decided to complain at which stage I was moved to another unit by Sandra. In fact I did not complain, I just asked her to remain in the room and apartment for a while and she commented that there is no way we can stay in that apartment. What bothers me is that the apartment should not have been allocated in the first instance given the problems. My stay was unpleasant and would like to be compensated
