Lost phone in a private hospital

On saturday morning (02:30am) my cousins child suddenly got sick, we rushed her to the emergency ward at Unitas hospital in centurion. When the doctors heard that the child was seriously blocked they asked us to take her for an x-ray. When we got there my cousin took the baby in the xray room not realising that she had her Blackberry torch in her hand. The lady who was helping her then told her to put the phone on the table so that she can hold the baby while they took the xrays, when they were done she left her phone there to go back to the ward. We only realised that she left her phone when we got back home around 04:40. We called the hospital to ask them to please go to the xray room and tell them that the phone was there and can the keep it safe until we come fetch it. To my horror, we were sent from piller to post, spoke to so many people and still no luck on the whereabouts of this phone. Even went there and the lady who was supposed to be helping us disappeared behind a closed door for 30 whole munites. A well respected hospital has employees who are? I know the lady who was working there that night even though I dont know her name. Taking further steps
