The physio made a mistake with the ICD code. According to Discovery it was too generic. They amended the code and resubmitted the claim in April. I have phoned and logged more than one query to have the claim reprocessed. The resubmitted claim was rejected as it is a 'duplicate' even though the first was never paid. In June Asavela promised me he would phone me back and assist in resolving the query. It is almost September and I haven't had any feedback re this query. Why is it that when things go wrong with Discovery it takes months and complaint after complaint to have the situation recitified?
