My bag was on Thursday 6th June and along wtih it, my prescription for my chronic asthma medication which I got from my doctor during a visit in the last week of March. I had not yet used the prescription as I still had 1 left on my current one and Clicks told me to hold onto it. I phoned Medicross to explain the situation and offered to fax/email a copy of my signed affadavit from teh police station stating that my handbag was to prove the situation but was unsympathetically told that they now charge R100 for rewriting prescriptions??? Considering this is chronic medication, this is an appalling response.
