I was told that the cost of this weight loss treatment would be R2 700 for the first month and that I should budget to spend R2 000 after that - a lot of money by any standards.
When I inquired whether it would be possible to get a break down of the per-item costs I was told, 'I don't have time for that' and 'You'll see it on your bill'. Not only is this unprofessional and rude (I am fully entitled to know what I am spending my money on, regardless of how long it may take the supplier to provide a break down), it is also in direct contravention of the Consumer Protection Act.
What does this Slender Wonder practice have to hide? Why else would they not be able to show exactly how their customers' money is being spent?
They won't be receiving my business and I am sure their unprofessional attitude will drive others away too.
