The Metsi Metsi Trail Camp is in a severe form of degradation, the list of faults which we identified in this camp are endless. To mention a few: only one shower was functional for eight people who were staying at the camp, the a-frame unit in which my father stayed (close to the kitchen) was leaning at such an angle that it should be declared as unsafe for occupation, the door to the shower was removed and left propped up against the side of the shower, the pathways leading to the units are completely overgrown, the wire meshes that cover all the a-frame units are full of holes, the a-frame units are full of spiders and cobwebs, the entire camp is infested with mice that literally crawl on you all night, the shutters to the units do not close properly, the bedding and towels are incredibly filthy and old. Words cannot describe how disappointed I am by this experience.
