2 Week old furniture damaged - Refusal to replace
I bought a bed set from Decofurn on the 31st Jan 2015. It was delivered on the 12th Feb. Over the weekend I noticed that the right leg (stand) of the drawer dresser is badly damaged. I called them on Monday 23rd and they advised that I have to send then pictures via email. I sent those pictures on Tuesday 24th I received a call later from Ricardo who told me an investigation will have to take place and he will have his Regional Manager contact me. This morning I received a mail from them saying my unit will not be replaced. So I am now stuck with a unit that is 2 weeks old and badly damaged. When I bought it I was told there is a warranty. But that has been clearly thrown out the window because they have made their money and couldn't care less. Decorfun is clearly selling problematic goods, just go through other Hello Peter reports and you will see. This unit has been in the same position the delivery guys left it in so I don't see how this could have been damaged by me!! This unit has to be replaced or repaired!! This is daylight robbery and I refuse to be a victim! I should be stuck with a unit that is 2 weeks old but looks like I have had it for 2 years! Disgusting!!
