I purchased an LG 3D 47 Inch LED TV in January 2012 from Game Store for R12 999, 99, In dECEMBER 2013 the tv could not switch on. I took it to Game Stores for repairs and after three weeks told to pay R9300 for repairs to replace the panel as the TV was out of warranty. I contacted LG Electronics concerned as to why a TV can just pack -up in less than two years. The response from LG was that it is unfortunate that the tv panel only lasted less than two years as these panels are built to last 7 to 10 years. I was not told as to the reason why my tv panel on;y lasted less than two years. and if the panel last for 10 years according to LG why are they not guaranteeing it. Why must I pay R9300 its almost a price of a new tv. It seems like LG is not taking responsibility for their products
