Yes, there is a bit of maintenance required like with most things worth using
Twisp has worked for me. I used to smoke a packet a day for 13 years. i loved smoking (or the action of smoking it seems). tried many times to quit cold but only lasted a week. smoked twisp for 8 months. I replaced the element every month at a cost of R40 and bought a new battery every 3 months. i cleaned it daily with wet wipes and and charged it every 2nd day for 90 minutes. all this maintenance is worth it if you consider the benefits of not smoking regular ciggs. i used to spend R1200 a month on smokes which cut down to R200/month for one bottle of liquid (considerable saving). after 8 months of Twisp i decided to quit even that. i am now a few months totally off any smoking. quitting has been one of the biggest achievements of my life. I stumbled across this site while looking for the Twisp website in order to direct my brother and get him on it. i totally endorse Twisp however you need to want to quit, prepared to maintain the device and have your own plan to quit totally (i have founfd that taking up a sport that requires a lot of cardio (running/cycling) helps the process. good luck
