Poor service delivery

I purchased an LG fridge/freezer in January. The fridge/freezer has interchangeable doors which I tried to turn around as the doors opened the wrong way. I was able to take out 7 of the 8 screws, but the last did not want to move. I tried Q20 and asked others to try and help me remove this, with no luck.

On calling the service centre, they informed me that I had modified the fridge/freezer by trying to change around the door handles (which is in the instruction manual) and therefore this is not covered by the warranty and therefore want me to pay R450 call out fee to change the. I suspect the thread on the was damaged when they inserted it with their machine in the factory. They also could not understand why it was so diff cult to remove a and undermined me just because I am a female. They even had the audacity to ask if I had the right equipment to remove this.

I am utterly shocked and appalled by this behaviour.
