So on Saturday 19 October 2013 I notice the Centurion Mall Branch has a REVAMP SALE going on and I pop in to see what is on special. I spot an interesting ex-DEMO Yamaha AV Receiver which I want to purchase but decide I want to go Google it and see if it will suffice for my needs. They had a sticker on it advertised for R7499 and the saleman helping me 'Felix' was very helpful with information about the product.
I went ahead and took a picture of the receiver with the price so I had the model name for my google research.
I return to the shop the very next day, having read up a bit more about the receiver, to be told the price is no longer valid and they want an extra R1000 from me, the very same AMP advertised for R7499.
Their REVAMP sale is on until Wednesday 23rd of October and its only Sunday!!!
I asked the manager Paul why this is so and his answer was that it was a 1 day sale for that AMP. A clear and obvious lie.
Why was I not told this by the salesman the previous day. I would have done my google research on my cellphone in store and bought it then.
I left the amp and I have vowed never to do business with these tools again. STAY AWAY
