We decided to purchase a Samsung Tv from this company online. We were asked to pay a deposit of R1800 and that the tv would be delivered that same day. This was on a saturday. On sunday when the tv still hadn't arrived we called the company to ask why, the person we dealt with informed us that we were in fact supposed to pay a 50% deposit. We refused to pay anything more as this all seemed untrustworthy. This guy said he will see what he can do to help, comes back saying that he got some money from the company and now we must pay a further R2000 to cover the deposit. Of course I refused once again. A few days later we received an sms with a tracking number for the tv, saying that it is at OR Tambo airport. The company phones us in a rage demanding to know why we have not paid the R2000 as it is needed to cover the courier fees and airport tax, we were never told we would have to pay these fees. We requested that our order be cancelled and that our R1800 be refunded but the company now refuses as they say that they spent that money on the courier fees already!
