My daughter, and her design class who are in MATRIC at the above mentioned school, was called in to the boardroom on friday 19 April 2013, and was told that because of not handing in their assignments on the due date (which happens to be on 27may 2013), their "invitation to the MATRIC farewell has been revoked". What absolute rubbish! Threats in this manner are only from weak, small minded headmasters like Mr JV Ceronio, whose title has gone to his head and thinks now he is head of a Dictatorship! What a disgrace not only to the Education System in South Africa but it also shows that there is no forward thinking in Benoni high school. Thankfully my daughter will be finished in our very poor education system at this school at the end of this year and they can and will experience no forthcoming support or words of praise or positivity from me in the many years I have left on this earth. I suggest that Mr Ceronio phones Mr Keller from Sun Valley Primary School in Cape Town and gets some advice on how a proper school is run, where children (no matter how young or old) are people with feelings and deserve respect and positive energy, they're not just a by-product of a means to a salary!
