In the past 8 years I have been using your "Maths in the Classroom" for grade 7 in my school. After using the Teacher's Guide to mark the learners' work, I realized that the book had many errors with regards to the answers. I then even invited the editor to show her the mistakes. Till today those errors were never fixed and I also do not think that this was my responsibility. You pay your editors/authors high salaries/royalties to do their work properly. It should have been correct from the start as Heinemann is really highly rated by the department of education. Then CAPS came and I decided to be loyal and I ordered the "Spot On" series for grade 7 Maths. Now I experience the same frustration all over again. Who edited/ checked the correctness of the answers in your Teacher's Guide? I work with children whose parents have high expectations of what happens in class. It is very inefficient to now first try and explain what the correct answer is and it is also embarrassing to have a supposedly quality textbook with errors in it.
Please can you send us the correct version of the Teacher's Guide as you DO claim that you are the best Maths Publisher in South Africa.
