It seems Maragons reputation preceeds itself as the "WORST PRIVATE SCHOOL IN THE WEST RAND"
I heard so much "bad" about Maragon, to only push it off to one side with the mind set that every school has its "problems"
Little did I know that my problems were soon to come.
My son was a prem baby, a little slower than than the kiddies his age, in regards to talking - his fine motor gross skills, but with our encouragment he was improving at a far better rate. All kids bite, pinch and hurt at this age. I have a daughter aged 7 and she too went through this phase. This is exactly what it is. A PHASE.
To top it off, my son has chronic asthma & is on full time medication to keep it under control.
We started getting numerous incident reports for when my son hurt another child. I signed & apologiesed & offered to assist in some manner, but the reports keep coming. Eventually it was tests, blood, x-rays, brain function, occupational therapy & more that they requested us to have done on our son. We complied, but soon after we received a letter wishing a son farewell. We never agreed to remove him from the school. Investigation still pending. Disgusted that the school gives up so Easily
