I applied to UNISA in April and received a email to submit my documents and make the payment of R100. i contacted their Exemptions department and was told by B. Groenewald that i will NOT BE ACCEPTED as i do not have Metric, i stated that their website instructs you to apply for exemption if you do not have metric but have have a NQF L5 certificate. he stated NO, ONLY IF YOU HAVE METRIC WILL YOU BE ACCEPTED. after hours of sifting through Unisa website i found the page were you are told to apply for exemption via applying for a "EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE" i am now in the process of getting the certificate but due to this unhelpful and incompetent assistance the incorrect documents was sent as my "supporting documents" and have not been contacted after numerous requests to set this straight. as i do not want the application denied just because i was ill informed by their support staff on what to do. instead i received rude and obnoxious mails from this person. how must i inform the applications department that the incorrect documents were sent so that i can first get the exemption certificate so that i can apply correctly without having to re apply from scratch???
