Late in 2012, Woolf contracting replaced a large portion of the roof my house. The removed the old metal sheets and replaced them. The work was guaranteed for 4 years.
On 28 Feb 2013, the barge board on the front of the replaced roof fell off. I called the owner, Ian, and he said that he was happy to come out and attached a new barge board. After a week I had still not heard from Ian, so I called again. This has now been going on for nearly 2 months. I have tried sending emails, leaving messages and even going to the work address listed on their website. At the work address, I was yelled at through the intercom - no-one would even come out to talk to me. I was not threatening or aggressive. Ian says the work will take no longer than 10 minutes. Every time I speak to him he says he will do it 'today or tomorrow' and then he does not arrive or call me back. He has now stopped answering my calls or messages from my cell phone. I have called using private number and he picks up immediately and promises 'today or tomorrow".
I am really disappointed - Ian like to talk about the quality of his work, and 'old-fashioned values', but he has not lived up to his promises.
