Group2 Flooring CC won us over by the prompt, knowledgeable service of sales person Michael. However, the eventual experience became a total disappointment. The work is not professional or up to the quality expected from a company that claims the following: "Our high grade of quality machinery combined with professional in-house trained staff ensures that our clients enjoy the highest quality of service & support available." The team sent to the premises was poorly skilled, uncommunicative, rude and messy. From dumping the waste from the site renovations on the neighbour's sidewalk to having tar on the tiles, walls and lawn, they just did not care at all. The blocks were not cleaned properly, leading to an array of issues. The sanding is absolutely appalling, and despite getting them to re-sand the floors after the first botched job, it still sports ridges from poor craftsmanship. The varnish is so badly applied, it's a disgrace. Trying to communicate with Lewis is a frustration and useless, since a rude and abrupt telephone manner entitles him to terminate conversations in mid-sentence. This is a company to be steered clear from.
