Mr do-it-all was contracted to fix parrot cages at my property and do some other alterations. He took R20 000 of the quoted R30 000 before he even started with anything. A week after the due begin date he still did not pitch, when i phoned him, he said he would require more money before he can start, I refused. He then started the job and told me that he wont be doing everything originally agreed upon in the contract because that would require more money. He did such a bad job, I had to get someone in afterwards to redo all of it. Cement floors were falling apart etc. During this time he also insisted to collect wire (special wire for bird cages) that I ordered from a supplier. I suspect he thought that I would give him the cash to pay the wire supplier, but fortunately I already paid them. He then, without my knowledge, told the wire supplier that I wanted more wire than originally ordered and the supplier gave it to him. He never brought that wire to me and I had to pay the wire supplier to keep a good relationship there. Whenever I phoned him afterwards, he just ignored my calls. Mr do-it-all is a and I would encourage anyone to not make use of his services.
