Ordered bricks, sand and cement from this company. From the word go, it was a consistent battle. They promised me delivery times, and never delivered. I paid by building crew for at least three days of sitting around waiting for supplies from Gautenf Brickyard. All the while Gerhard Roetz kept making promises. EVENTUALLY, after coming to my senses, I cancelled by building crew, and waited for the order to arrive. Loads of correspondance later, and after THREE WEEKS had passed, they finally delivered my materials. Only for me to find that the one load was the incorrect sand. Another week went by, and finally, after many shifts in deadlines, I cancelled the order and demanded a refund.
Getting my refund also posed a massive problem, and I was forced to call Gerhard Roetz' father, Johan, who is no longer in the business. FINALLY some action, and payment was made straight away, but, for the incorrect amount.
I queried the outstanding balance with Gerhard Roetz, who sent me a message on the 11th December 2013, saying "I will contact when I have a chance to discuss matter". that was almost three weeks ago, and I still havent heard anything. So, I have given up on the balance due to me.
