I have had nightmares with incompetence and bad service from 4-Seasons Solar. I bough a heat pump in February 2013, thinking that I also needed to do my bit (green) for the environment and in the same breath, save on our electricity costs. The price of the heatpump was R 12 000 and the company was very quick to do the installation and then forced me to also sign a 12 month maintenance contract. The contract came at an additional charge. In July (5 months later), this heatpump started acting up. We didn't have Hot water for days. I sent an email to 4-season but had no immediate response from them. After another email, I received a long-winded response from Pieter Swart with more excuses in the email than a You-Magazine. Eventually his Technicians came on site and tried everything under the sun to get the machine working. The minute they leave, then we encountered the same problem. Last Thursday, 21st November 2013, the Technicians again arrived at my house. This time they decided to flush the geyser, but in doing so they completely flooded the bathroom ceiling. and now they refuse to replace the ceiling. IF YOU ARE IN THE MARKET FOR THIS PRODUCT, GO TO ANOTHER SUPPLIER
