So it's now been 33 months since I paid the deposit for the double garage to Pandea Doors / Steelworks.
However, I have very little hope that I will get my deposit back, since it's been promises upon promises upon promises, and then silence for over a year...
In summary, if you ever happen to do business with this organisation (hopefully not), consider:
a) Obtaining a proof of address from Pandea before you pay a cent to them since the Randfontein Sheriff could not locate them to deliver the court summons; and
b) Pandea expects 50% deposit, and 50% payment on arrival onsite to do the job. Do not pay the 2nd 50% until the job is complete. Do not accept their T&C's! They are the supplier - the customer is KING!
