I placed on order on the 10 September 2013 for a 6 seater table and 2 benches from Goozberry the eco-centric furniture company. Milton is the person whom I dealt with, his response was that I needed to pay a 50% deposit on placement of order, the remaining balance on cash on delivery and that the item will be delivered in 2 weeks. So I made the deposit and waited with absolutely no communication on Milton's behalf as to the progress.
17 days later (27 September 2013) I contacted Milton to find out where the items were and his response was that they were leaving Cape Town today and should arrive 30 September 2013. This is 3 weeks after making the deposit to him. In the same email he requested that I pay the remaining balance before the items leave Cape Town and before I have even received any of them.
Milton together with his unprofessional customer service, repeatedly called names and told me if I was standing in front of him he would punch me. I am going as far to lay a charge of assault against him.
I have experienced 1st hand the fears online shoppers have.
