In late March we contractedTed to build a pool, entertainment area and playroom. He quoted -350k and said the job would take max 3 months. So far we have paid almost 320k Nearly 5 months later, we have incomplete pool, no roofs, no doors, no windows, no floors, no fibreglass lining pumps or machinery for the pool, no lighting, no electricity no LED lightsbasically the project is less that half done. The project and big expensive items/materials kept on being delayed. Then Ted wanted 22k more for additional work he allegedly did. Failing to explain what we paid 320k for thus far. We refused to pay any more monies until work approaching that value was completed Ted said we were in breach of contract. He then stopped working as he had no more funds He then the gas braai he installed 4 weeks prior. We discovered he was building his own entertainment area at his house presumably thats where the staff and money went. Mr Sunny disposition is very charming but we have lost well over 100k We have paid for half-finished goods and services whose quality is questionable and other builders say it will cost min150k up to R200k to finish the jo
