Andrew was contracted by myself after doing great work for my company to enclose my outside balcony, build my pool and upgrade my entertainment area.
All the work was carried out perfectly. So much so that we got Andrew so much work he had to turn people away. He did however start work on a friends house and my mother in laws.
When it came to installing the pool cleaner and completing the scratch list, I received and email saying that he could no longer carry on financially as too many people had let him down with payments and that I should pay the 16K I owe him to my mother in law who recievd the same email, as well as our friend.
I tried contacting him no answer or reply. I then sent him a snotty email after I heard that he had told his partner that they couldn't do work for my company as I owed them R70 000 personally.
Now I see why he ducked. My pool leaks and cannot take a pool cleaner as there is no suction. It is scew. I'm now having to spend R12 000 to fix it. Luckily less than the 16. My mother-in-law and friend no so lucky.
I just hope that this will prevent other people from being taken for a ride with his. He can build but thats where it ends.
