Started off in North Riding store. Chose 5 light fittings from display for purchase. Struggled to get any assistance as all staff were standing in huddles chatting or shouting across the store at one another. NOBODY INTERESTED IN ASSISTING! Steven in department without ANY knowledge of the product or the department went to stockroom to source lights. Came back with only ONE of the FIVE requested. Informed he had nothing in stock in spite of the lights being displayed. Had to ask him to find the product at other branches. Returned to inform me that he had sourced the lights in Rivonia. He clearly told me that they had several of each in stock. Went from North Riding to Rivonia, to equally DISGUSTING service and attitude. The assistant was on tea and had to find alternate assistant who wasn't lounging around, playing with their cell phone or in anyway interested in serving a customer. Staff standing around information desk talking amongst themselves without any desire to serve a customer. The assistant in lighting department at Rivonia found it very amusing that we had come from North Riding under false pretences. Requested a manager being Mark. HAVE HEARD NOTHING!!!
