I purchased a used Rav 4 in September 2012. The sales rep that did the deal was completely useless! Firstly the deal went through and then after 4 weeks they found a problem with the car I had traded in. The problem occured on 1st registration on the car which was 2005! I purchased the car in 2011 and registered it without any issues so still to this day I dont know what the issue actually was. During the discovery of this issue, they paid me out what they owed me on this trade in. Instead if paying the R20k that was due to me they paid me R60k! Being honest I contacted them and made a plan to transfer the incorrect amount back to them. The sales rep then called me and said he was coming to fetch the Rav 4 that I purchased. His mannerism was shocking and swearing at a customer of the phone is unacceptable! I took delivery of the Rav only to find that new tyres were mant to be put on as there is no way it passed roadworthy. After fighting with them I got this right. Now just under 7 months later I get told that the clutch is "jus not good". I asked for reports etc and am still waiting. Customer serv called and also have not come back! Toyota's name is being ruined by staff like this
