Too long a time taken to repair my Vehicle

I was in an accident on Monday, 11 February 2013. My car was towed to Renewit in Randburg the same evening. Authorization to go ahead with the repairs was received by Renewit on Thursday, 14 February 2013. I continually liaised with Edgar from Renewit and was told that the repairs would take 15 days to complete. I requested for a courtesy vehicle and was told that they were none available. Fortunately, my insurance policy had a clause for a 15 day car hire after an accident. I again requested a courtesy vehicle from Renewit to no avail. My insurer extended my car hire for another 10 days. However, the extension could not go any furhter and Renewit still did not have a courtesy car for me. The car hire company now is demanding i pay for the car hire from 11 March 2013 to the time I get my car back from Renewit. It was at no fault of mine that I needed furhter extension on the rental vehicle. Renewit should be responsible for paying the extension on the hired vehicle as I liaised with Edgar on a regular basis with no satisfaction. The car hire is R242/day and I cannot afford this as I am now due to pay the excess on my vehicle to Renewit.
